Mike Dodd - Delivering Innovative Defense Program Oversight
Mike Dodd is an established connector in the defense industry who has experience spanning the technological and transactional aspects of national security and government contracting. He enables clients to secure sought after contracts at the federal level, with total values of contracts exceeding $2.2 billion. As principal with the Defense Innovation Unit of National Security Innovation Capital (NSIC), Mike Dodd supports the efforts of dual-use hardware startups in areas such as sensors, power, space, communications, and autonomy.
Mr. Dodd also serves as vice president of strategic partnerships with the National Security Technology Accelerator (NSTXL). He focuses critical technology development efforts in areas such as microelectronics, advanced software, and computing. The Rapid Assured Microelectronics Prototypes - Commercial (RAMP-C) initiative has delivered a leading edge US-based semiconductor program that involves fabricating advanced integrated circuits with critical use for Department of Defense systems.
Mr. Dodd previously served as a university program director with the National Security Innovation Network (NSIN) at Indiana University. As principal Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division liaison, Mike Dodd fostered a collaborative approach that brought together academics and federal agencies in solving key national security challenges.
